Theevettis are the traditional torches with eight spokes made famous by its presence in the Pooram festivals of Thrissur,which gives the display of elephants and their decorations, its eerie effect.

Originally a thee pantham used in thrissur poorams. It is an accompaniment or the effect that gives the splendor of thrissur pooram.
